- pass TSA security threat assessment and criminal history records check

Job Duties
- Inspect terminal, airside and landside areas to ensure safe and secure operating standards
- provide exceptional customer service to passengers regarding flight inquiries, guidelines, and directions
- screen goods and equipment entering sterile environments according to TSA regulations
- use multi-channel radio to communicate operational status clearly and effectively
- maintain vigilance for hazards such as fire, sanitation issues, or slip and trip hazards and respond appropriately
- respond to and investigate security door alarms and escalate when necessary
- compose incident reports for emergencies and other situations
- perform routine inspections of perimeter fencing, parking lots, roadways, and ramps
- conduct continuous security sweeps to detect prohibited items or suspicious devices
- monitor vehicle traffic on terminal frontage ensuring no unauthorized or unattended vehicles
- maintain passenger control at portals to sterile areas to prevent breaches
- monitor ramp activities for compliance with safety and security regulations
- inspect parking lots for vehicle security, infrastructure integrity, and cleanliness
- aid passengers in short-term parking
- perform other duties as assigned
