Job Requirements
- minimum 1 year of experience in sewing, alterations or garment construction
- expertise in operating sewing machines
- understanding fabrics and garment construction techniques
- detail oriented
- ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays
- must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
- ability to frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and handling objects and equipment
- push, pull, grasp, lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
- legally authorized to work in the United States full-time at the time of application

Job Duties
- delight guests and hoteliers at every interaction with a warm, friendly presence
- clean, care for, and iron linen entrusted by guests in compliance with company standards
- perform tailoring jobs including altering and repairing material items
- ensure cleanliness and quality of hotelier uniforms and other textile items
- manage uniform fit and condition, advise management on uniform requirements
- control quality and quantity of linen delivered by service providers
- package guest linen according to preferences
- handle guest items with utmost care
- manage inventory and storage of sewing supplies and cleaning materials
- convert discarded linen into reusable items to support sustainability
- maintain cleanliness and proper operation of laundry room and equipment
- communicate effectively with all hotel departments to foster teamwork
