Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal or special occasion production environment
- prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
- ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
- manual dexterity for sewing and use of POS terminals
- ability to lift/move up to 10 pounds
- excellent communication skills
- ability to maintain a high standard of dress and professional appearance

Job Duties
- Welcome all customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person
- communicate clearly and concisely adapting style to suit customers by problem solving, excellent phone skills and resolving conflict
- use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience
- maintain all service levels by being prepared, welcoming, meet the needs and be there for all customers, including operational checklist tasks and meeting customers emotional and practical needs
- provide exceptional service to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to store achievement of five-star customer service
- proactively address customer concerns with confidence and escalate when necessary
- communicate the importance of alterations in perfecting the dress and promote alteration services and personalization options
- assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization
- maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience
- greet and escort all alterations customers to and from appointments
- maintain quality control by inspecting all altered, steamed, and pressed garments before final delivery
- respond promptly to customer questions by providing product and service information
- build long-term relationships with customers to exceed satisfaction and loyalty
- maintain inventory management by processing special orders and ensuring first quality standards
- ensure alteration pricing meets company standards
- manage all alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing and spot cleaning of garments to company standards
- resolve customer service issues swiftly and effectively
- support all cash wrap behaviors and accurately process transactions
- maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- perform duties as assigned by store management
