Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five plus years seafood department experience including three plus years in management
  • Strong knowledge of seafood preparation, displays, and operations
  • Culinary training a plus
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, customer-focused environment

Job Duties

  • Oversee Port Washington seafood department including all operations, displays, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and storage
  • Manage inventory, pricing, and displays to maximize freshness and appeal
  • Ensure top-notch quality, safety, and compliance with all food regulations
  • Train, mentor, and support seafood staff across multiple locations
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience including seafood preparation advice and sustainability education
