Job Requirements
- No formal education or prior experience required
- Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents
- Capable of writing routine reports
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Basic math knowledge including weights
- Possession of Food Handler's Certification as required by law
- Willingness to work in wet or humid conditions and near moving mechanical parts
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Effective oral communication skills to speak before groups of customers or associates
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Food Handler's Certification as required by state law
Job Duties
- Deliver superior guest service ensuring absolute customer satisfaction
- Use the three E's: Engagement, Educate, Empowerment in customer interactions
- Read and follow recipes for food preparation
- Know the use and taste of seafood products offered
- Perform quality assurance checks in the seafood department
- Handle and rotate seafood products properly
- Maintain stock levels, inventory, and cleanliness daily
- Promote sales by providing samples to customers
- Work within company programs, policies, and procedures
- Support established company programs
- Follow all Health Code guidelines
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
