Job Requirements

  • Valid Washington State Food Workers Card
  • ability to work part-time hours
  • completed at least high school education
  • ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • successful completion of background and reference checks
  • adherence to food safety and quality standards
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of seafood experience
  • knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • ability to work in a diverse team environment
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • self-motivated with initiative
  • knowledge of seafood products, ingredients, and culinary applications

Job Duties

  • Maintain high-quality standards in product management and presentation
  • support and execute production of Seafood Department merchandising and displays
  • effectively perform seafood cutting responsibilities
  • minimize product loss while producing visually attractive merchandise
  • provide outstanding customer service and communicate product information
  • participate in quarterly physical inventories
  • practice inventory control
  • ensure highest quality products are stocked
  • remove and replace outdated products daily
