Job Qualifications
- At least one year of seafood experience
- comprehensive knowledge and understanding of food, including ingredients, applications, pronunciations, and culinary skills
- strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
- demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- proven success working in a diverse team environment
- knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and Department of Health guidelines
Job Duties
- Maintain high-quality standards in product management and presentation
- support and execute production of Seafood Department merchandising and displays
- effectively perform seafood cutting responsibilities
- minimize product loss while producing visually attractive merchandise
- provide outstanding customer service and readily communicate product information
- participate in quarterly physical inventories and practice inventory control
- ensure highest quality products are stocked and appropriately remove outdated product
