Job Requirements
- Read and write Spanish and English
- Comprehend simple instructions and product labels
- Write simple correspondence
- Present information effectively in small groups
- Follow written and oral instructions
- Lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Stand and bend for prolonged periods
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write English and Spanish
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
- Experience in retail or seafood handling preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service
- Assist customers with seafood selections
- Set up, maintain, and clean seafood display cases
- Fill and rotate seafood products to ensure freshness
- Lift and move seafood products up to 50 pounds
- Follow food safety procedures including obtaining and maintaining Food Handler Card
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members in both English and Spanish
