Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- minimum of 6 months to 1 year fiberglass lamination instruction experience required, 3 years preferred
- ability to read and understand blueprints
- ability to read and understand production schedule
- basic computer skills
- good verbal communication skills
- ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual
- ability to work in a hot and dusty environment using protective clothing and respirator if needed
- ability to pass a respirator fit test
Job Qualifications

- ability to audit departmental work areas
- ability to maintain and adjust resin guns and pumps
- ability to multi-task
- ability to read and understand job descriptions
- ability to read and understand blueprints
- ability to read and understand production schedule
- working knowledge of procedures, instructions, and documents related to the quality system
- knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal
- ability to transport hazardous waste with applicable training
- basic computer skills

Job Duties
- run chopper gun to lay down resin and fiberglass used in construction of hull, deck and small parts
- maintain constant laminate thickness as per engineering specs
- control labor and parts flow in designated area
- direct team of other laminators
- work scheduled typically 4 days per week at 10 hours per day with adjustments as required
- perform weekend work as scheduled according to workload and repair needs
