Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • No alcohol or drug-related driving incidents in last 36 months
  • Ability to meet healthcare facility requirements for access
  • Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
  • Authorization to work full or part-time in the country of employment
  • Willingness to work nights and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel locally daily and occasionally overnight
  • Ability to use mobile devices and computers for approximately 90% of working day
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Ability to act with inclusion mindset and model inclusive behaviors
  • Adherence to company Quality Management System policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or related field or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 2+ years previous sales, inside sales, or account management experience or 1+ years sales experience plus 1+ years healthcare-related experience or completion of active-duty military service as a Junior Officer or above
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including questioning and listening
  • Confident, professional, and credible presence
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM tools
  • Effective organizational and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to listen empathetically and mediate disagreements
  • Ability to work confidently in complex and ambiguous environments
  • Ability to contribute productively to team environments while managing workload independently
  • Ability to create value for others through presentation of new processes and concepts
  • Ability to work simultaneously on telephone and computer.

Job Duties

  • Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems and market landscape to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and deliver improved patient outcomes through integration of Exact Sciences solutions
  • Analyze the treatment journey across the local system of care to identify account opportunities to work with healthcare providers to improve clinical decision making and deliver better health outcomes
  • Build a network of relationships within accounts to gain insight into system, customer and patient unmet needs, including clinical stakeholders and administrators, and diligently capture information using CRM databases
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources to understand evolving local care systems and make data-driven decisions on account potential
  • Develop and implement business and account plans to increase visibility and sales growth of Exact Sciences products
  • Educate and enable physicians and stakeholders about Exact Sciences products and screening importance using approved clinical studies and marketing materials
  • Lead successful execution of account plans through collaboration with internal stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction, patient outcomes, and business opportunities
  • Ensure ethical and professional standards are upheld in all business dealings in alignment with company policies
  • Communicate customer needs and opportunities clearly to mobilize resources and shape effective solutions
  • Focus on proactive business growth by targeting customers with high potential and uncovering unmet needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and market intelligence in CRM systems
  • Support the coordination of cross-functional teams including Account Managers, Area Managers, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Internal Sales Support.
