Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as grasping, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, twisting, crouching, reaching
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and use eye, hand, foot coordination
- Ability to stand, walk and bend throughout entire workday
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work overnight shifts
- Ability to follow safety and accident prevention policies

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bakery experience preferred
- Knowledge of bakery baking processes and terminology
- Ability to work overnight shifts including graveyard shift
- Basic math skills for scaling and inventory management
- Ability to follow recipes and adhere to quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to safety and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Perform bakery functions such as mixing, scaling, proofing, baking, frying, and finishing bakery items according to standard formulas and procedures
- Be knowledgeable of basic bakery terms and processes such as fermentation, bench time, proofing, and effects of temperature variations on bakery items
- Assist in making orders for bakery ingredients and supplies and maintain inventory levels per department and store policy
- Fill, rotate, arrange, and merchandise displays and display cases
- Manage pricing, dating, wrapping or bagging of all bakery products in accordance with Bakery Merchant
- Continually be proactive on self-development to assume additional duties and responsibilities
- Comply with all company safety and accident prevention policies, reporting all accidents to the Bakery Merchant
- Clean and sanitize bakery areas and equipment as directed by Bakery Merchant
- Maintain all department equipment in good working order and recommend repairs when necessary
