Job Requirements
- Minimum age 18 years
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work graveyard shift hours
- Ability to perform repetitive motions and tasks requiring hand-eye coordination

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in bakery or food preparation preferred
- Knowledge of bakery ingredients and baking processes
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Basic math skills for measuring and pricing
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Duties
- Perform bakery functions such as mixing, scaling, proofing, baking, frying, and finishing on one or more bakery items as directed, according to standard formulas and procedures
- Be knowledgeable of basic bakery terms and processes such as fermentation, bench time, proofing, and effects of temperature variations on bakery items
- Assist in making orders for bakery ingredients and supplies and maintain inventory levels in accordance with department and store policy
- Capable of filling, rotating, arranging and merchandising displays and display cases
- Possess knowledge of pricing, dating, wrapping or bagging of all bakery products in accordance with Bakery Merchant
- Continually be proactive on self-development so that additional duties and responsibilities can be assumed
- Comply with all company safety and accident prevention policies, reporting all accidents to the Bakery Merchant
- Clean and sanitize areas of bakery and equipment as directed by Bakery Merchant
- Maintain all department equipment in good working order and recommend repair of equipment when deemed necessary
