Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid food handlers' card or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle cash and use POS system
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Must be able to taste and describe flavors
- Commitment to food safety and cleanliness
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Valid food handlers' card within 30 days of employment
- Experience in food service, fast-casual dining, or hospitality preferred
- Ability to learn and discuss flavors and products
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate about guest experiences
- Ability to work with diverse backgrounds
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and dynamic environments
- Fluency in English
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Availability for at least 3 shifts a week including 2 closing shifts
Job Duties
- Interact attentively with guests with patience and positivity
- Maintain knowledge of brand, production techniques, and flavor profiles to educate guests
- Scoop perfect portions in line with shop standards
- Process transactions accurately using POS system
- Prepare, label, and store waffle batter and cones maintaining cleanliness
- Adhere to food quality and safety standards including cleaning and organization duties
- Replenish retail products and supplies
- Consolidate and temper ice cream tubs correctly
- Pack third-party delivery orders accurately
- Answer phones and provide excellent service
- Greet guests and facilitate line flow
- Sample ice cream daily to better communicate flavors
