Job Requirements
- Possess a valid and current New York State Security Guard License
- Have at least 3 years of security guard experience
- Completion of 16-hour on-the-job training class required by New York State Licensing Division
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Retired from law enforcement
- Ability to maintain exceptional work ethic
- Commitment to following company operational procedures
- Valid CPR-AED certification is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Retired law enforcement officer
- Valid and current New York State Security Guard License
- Minimum 3 years of security guard experience
- Completion of 16 HR OJT class required by NYS Licensing Division
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Exceptional work ethic
- Ability to adhere to company service and operating standards
- Knowledge of fire prevention and incident reporting procedures
Job Duties
- Patrol school premises to ensure safety and security
- Monitor entrances and exits to control access
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies
- Report and document all incidents accurately and timely
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations
- Collaborate with school staff and law enforcement as needed
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while on duty
