Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- two years of experience in institutional food service and food service supervision
- obtain ServSafe certification or Tennessee Department of Education Food Safety and Schools Certificate Program within one year
- proof of education, training, and/or experience
- ability to supervise cafeteria staff
- knowledge of school nutrition program regulations
- ability to manage food service operations efficiently
- strong organizational and communication skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensure the efficient operation of the school cafeteria
- supervise cafeteria staff
- order foods and supplies
- oversee food planning, preparation, and service
- supervise point-of-sale terminal operation and financial reporting
- ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies and regulations
- provide food services for satellite sites or operate cluster schools
- manage high volume food service locations
- promote food safety and quality assurance
