Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience or training preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Availability to work 6.5 hours per day during school year
  • Ability to attend ongoing training sessions
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality and ethical behavior

Job Duties

  • Operates specialized food service equipment
  • Assists in food production, service, and/or cleanup tasks as assigned
  • Receives and unpacks food and supplies
  • Cleans and maintains food service equipment and facilities
  • Participates in ongoing professional training
  • Observes safety and security procedures
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
