Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Food Handler’s Certificate required
- Manager Certification required for managers
- Four years of food handling, preparation or cashiering experience
- Two years of lead or supervisory experience
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Must pass criminal history background check
- Must hold valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be able to lift objects up to 25 pounds
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week
- Willingness to travel between campuses when required

- Four years of food handling, service, preparation, or cashiering experience
- Two years of lead or supervisory experience
- Ability to monitor food safety protocols and CCPs
- Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures in food service
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience operating kitchen equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Capability to train and coach food service staff
- Ability to manage inventory and ordering processes
- Familiarity with financial controls and cash handling
- Ability to partner effectively with school administration
Job Duties
- Work in a multifaceted role, shifting duties as needed between food service worker, cook, cashier, and manager
- Perform all food service worker duties
- Support food service workers to complete opening and closing tasks
- Assist with operational oversight and training as required
- Prepare, serve, and replenish food and drink items
- Monitor inventory, order food and supplies, and ensure safe food storage
- Verify and monitor HACCP procedures and maintain food safety documentation
- Maintain courteous relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Communicate policies and provide customer service in the cafeteria
- Operate kitchen equipment and perform cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Manage financial procedures including cash register operations and daily reconciliations
- Coordinate catering for special events and school breaks
- Develop work schedules and assign job responsibilities
- Conduct weekly and monthly inventory and manage stockroom organization
- Ensure proper completion of HR and payroll paperwork
- Attend staff meetings and participate in mandatory deep cleanings
