Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL class B license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and unloading
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with early morning start times
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and company policies
Job Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) class B
- Previous experience operating straight trucks or commercial motor vehicles
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manually handle and unload dairy products
- Capability to complete paperwork accurately and follow route schedules
- Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance
- Professional attitude and reliability
Job Duties
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle according to DOT and DFA regulations
- Deliver pre-ordered and unscheduled dairy products to customers including schools, grocery stores, and nursing homes
- Follow designated routes and schedules, reporting any delivery delays
- Load and unload product manually using necessary equipment and stock or rotate products as required
- Provide merchandising support and promote new product sales
- Communicate effectively with customers and resolve complaints
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure cleanliness
- Secure loads properly before travel
- Complete all required daily paperwork accurately
- Attend driver workshops and training sessions
- Use company-supported applications correctly
- Represent DFA positively and professionally during customer interactions
