Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Valid driver’s license
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- All required background and clearance checks must be obtained or updated prior to employment

- Prior experience in custodial or maintenance roles preferred
- Ability to operate janitorial and maintenance equipment
Job Duties
- Load and unload materials for the purpose of delivering to appropriate locations
- Maintain and make minor repairs to equipment and permanent structures including painting and checking mechanical systems
- Operate janitorial and other equipment such as snow and ice removal tools to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Perform daily cleaning duties including classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, assigned areas, and trash removal
- Prepare rooms for use by groups and school activities
- Prepare work orders and related documents
- order necessary supplies in advance
- Respond to emergency situations by assessing and reporting to proper departments
- Secure facilities by opening buildings, disarming alarm systems, locking, and setting alarms
