Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- no experience required with on the job training provided
- no high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Job Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- one year of prior similar work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, office, and stairways
- sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas
- regularly check trash receptacles and empty as needed in all designated areas
- follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- notify lead cleaner or manager about the need for repairs or additions to building systems
- establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers
- collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles
- clean and dust desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceiling, and walls
- polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel
- wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
- move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment for cleaning purposes
- clean interior partition glass, windows, and mirrors
- sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow and perform seasonal tasks
- maintain cleanliness of restrooms by cleaning and polishing as needed
- comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
