Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- no experience required on the job training provided
- no high school diploma GED or college degree required
Job Qualifications
- prior customer service experience preferred
- one year of prior similar work experience preferred
Job Duties
- clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms hallways restrooms locker rooms office and stairways
- sweep remove debris clean spills and mop floors in designated areas
- regularly check trash receptacles emptying as needed
- follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- notify lead cleaner or manager concerning need for minor or major repairs
- establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients co-workers supervisors and managers
- collect consolidate and separate recycling into proper receptacles
- clean and dust desks chairs tables furniture fixtures doors sills floors ceiling and walls
- polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel
- wipe and clean tabletops chairs and equipment in food areas
- move cabinets boxes furniture crates and equipment to clean areas manually or using hand trucks
- clean interior partition glass windows glass partitions and mirrors
- perform seasonal tasks like sweeping walks raking leaves cutting grass and removing snow
- maintain cleanliness of restrooms including cleaning and polishing
- comply with all safety security compliance and quality standards and procedures
