  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • One year of prior similar work experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Clean and maintain assigned area including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways
  • Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas
  • Regularly check and empty trash receptacles in all designated areas
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
  • Notify lead cleaner or manager concerning the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
  • Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles
  • Clean and dust desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls
  • Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless steel
  • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
  • Move furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment manually or by using hand trucks to clean areas
  • Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners
  • Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform seasonal tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and polish restrooms as needed
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by company, clients, and regulatory authorities
