Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • HS/GED (preferred)
  • Speak, read, write and interpret written materials and oral information in English
  • Reliable transportation as this position will float from center to center as needed
  • 1 year prior institutional cooking experience (preferred)
  • Experience with the Child and Adult Care Food Program / CACFP (preferred)
  • Math skills to meet position requirements
  • Pass CBI background check and post-employment medical examination

Job Duties

  • Assist with delivering high quality, nutritious food service for early childhood center children
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen
  • Ensure materials and equipment are kept in a safe fashion in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Adhere to Colorado Adult Child Food Program (CACFP) requirements
  • Communicate with coworkers and families in a warm and professional manner
