Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to sit for extended periods and handle occasional physical tasks
- Valid driver’s license
- No prior DUI or serious traffic violations
- Willingness to complete and pass company-paid CDL training program if not already licensed
- Availability to work flexible weekday shifts
- Strong attention to detail and responsibility for student safety
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or willingness to obtain CDL with company-sponsored training
- Strong commitment to safety and student welfare
- Good driving record with ability to operate large vehicles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow DOT regulations and company policies
- Ability to work part-time, flexible weekday schedule
- Experience working with children or in vehicle operation is a plus
Job Duties
- Safely transport students to and from school and activities
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Conduct child checks after each route
- Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
- Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
- Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
- Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
