Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and handle occasional physical tasks
  • Valid driver’s license
  • No prior DUI or serious traffic violations
  • Willingness to complete and pass company-paid CDL training program if not already licensed
  • Availability to work flexible weekday shifts
  • Strong attention to detail and responsibility for student safety

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or willingness to obtain CDL with company-sponsored training
  • Strong commitment to safety and student welfare
  • Good driving record with ability to operate large vehicles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow DOT regulations and company policies
  • Ability to work part-time, flexible weekday schedule
  • Experience working with children or in vehicle operation is a plus

Job Duties

  • Safely transport students to and from school and activities
  • Arrive at destinations on schedule
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Conduct child checks after each route
  • Use navigation tools to plan efficient routes
  • Maintain a clean, fueled, and well-maintained vehicle
  • Keep accurate mileage and maintenance records
  • Interact with students, parents, and staff in a professional manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
