Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 6 months experience as preschool teacher or in licensed daycare
- willingness to work flexible business hours
- ability to perform cooking and bus driving duties
- commitment to child safety
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- physical ability to engage with children and perform varied job tasks
Job Qualifications
- High level of flexibility and willingness to work within business hours
- minimum of 6 months previous experience as a preschool teacher or in a licensed daycare
- child development associate or college degree in early childhood education, child development, or related preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Encourage a positive learning environment for all children within the center
- document and share important child milestones with parents
- collaborate with preschool teachers and leaders to implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- respect and observe children's interests
- maintain safety and intervene as needed
- enhance children's play with language, toys, and activities
- encourage and model developmentally appropriate social behavior
- plan daily balance of activities including quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, and fine/gross motor skills
- prepare meals for children
- drive the bus during the day and lead school-age children in the afternoon
