Job Requirements

  • Four or more years of related work experience
  • Ability to direct staff and allocate resources
  • Availability to work varying shifts including days and hours

  • Physical ability to perform cooking and kitchen tasks

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Supervise Service Contract Act (SCA) Cook IIs and possibly other lower-level positions
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Allocate kitchen staff and resources effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
