Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years related cooking experience
  • Ability to work varying shifts including open availability
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to prepare large quantities of food efficiently and with attention to detail
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare large quantities of food using various cooking methods including roasting, boiling, steaming, and frying
  • Season and cook all cuts of meat, poultry, and fish
  • Prepare vegetables by boiling, steaming, or frying
  • Make gravies, soups, sauces, roasts, casseroles, stews, and meat pies
  • Attend work and report for scheduled shifts on time with consistent reliability
  • Reduce food waste by optimizing ingredient use and portioning
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on client needs and business requirements
