Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in food service or fast-casual restaurant environment helpful but not required
- ability to operate point-of-sale register system
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- positive attitude and customer service orientation
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Serve customers within assigned station following prescribed guest service methods and standards
- greet guests and enhance sales through purchase suggestions
- handle payment transactions accurately and follow cash handling policies
- maintain product knowledge of ingredients, presentation, pricing, and specials
- complete cleaning and stocking duties per daily operating procedures
- practice food safety and sanitation standards
- follow cost control systems including employee food policy and waste guidelines
- assist other team members as required
- ensure proper use of gloves, utensils, portion sizes, food temperature, and attractive presentation
- communicate promptly with coworkers and management regarding food inventory and quality
- prepare food products according to recipe manuals and safety procedures
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- maintain steam table items and rotate products using FIFO method
- clean and sanitize restaurant areas including dining room, restrooms, storage, and utensils
- support guest service in all assigned stations
- perform additional duties as assigned
