Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or fast-casual restaurant environment helpful but not required
  • ability to operate point-of-sale register system
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • positive attitude and customer service orientation
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Serve customers within assigned station following prescribed guest service methods and standards
  • greet guests and enhance sales through purchase suggestions
  • handle payment transactions accurately and follow cash handling policies
  • maintain product knowledge of ingredients, presentation, pricing, and specials
  • complete cleaning and stocking duties per daily operating procedures
  • practice food safety and sanitation standards
  • follow cost control systems including employee food policy and waste guidelines
  • assist other team members as required
  • ensure proper use of gloves, utensils, portion sizes, food temperature, and attractive presentation
  • communicate promptly with coworkers and management regarding food inventory and quality
  • prepare food products according to recipe manuals and safety procedures
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • maintain steam table items and rotate products using FIFO method
  • clean and sanitize restaurant areas including dining room, restrooms, storage, and utensils
  • support guest service in all assigned stations
  • perform additional duties as assigned
