Job Requirements

Minimum one year experience in service or related field preferred
Food Handler certification if applicable
Alcohol Awareness certification if applicable
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency using POS systems
Strong numeracy skills for billing and cash handling
Excellent verbal communication skills
Demonstrated passion for guest service
Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

At least one year of experience in a similar or supportive role
Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications if applicable
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
Strong ability to learn, retain, and communicate product, menu, and allergy information
Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the restaurant POS system
Ability to calculate accurate bill amounts and handle credit card and cash transactions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Passion for crafting personalized guest experiences
Highly motivated and flexible with initiative-taking capability
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Provide support and assistance to team members while maintaining clean, dry, and safe work areas
Greet and welcome guests promptly and attend to tables
Receive and take guest orders and process them accurately in the POS system
Prepare and serve meal accompaniments to guests
Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of food, wine, and beverage menus
Ensure guests have enjoyable and memorable experiences and communicate complaints to management
Perform sidework and assist with station setup and breakdown including deli, dessert, coffee, and espresso
Open bottled wine for guests (wine service)
Assist with seating guests, taking to-go orders, bussing tables, and answering phones as needed
Attend all company and restaurant required trainings and maintain constant communication with support staff and management
Adapt to multiple roles and responsibilities beyond the standard job description as needed
