Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in service or related field preferred
  • Food Handler certification if applicable
  • Alcohol Awareness certification if applicable
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency using POS systems
  • Strong numeracy skills for billing and cash handling
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated passion for guest service
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in a similar or supportive role
  • Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness certifications if applicable
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Strong ability to learn, retain, and communicate product, menu, and allergy information
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the restaurant POS system
  • Ability to calculate accurate bill amounts and handle credit card and cash transactions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for crafting personalized guest experiences
  • Highly motivated and flexible with initiative-taking capability
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide support and assistance to team members while maintaining clean, dry, and safe work areas
  • Greet and welcome guests promptly and attend to tables
  • Receive and take guest orders and process them accurately in the POS system
  • Prepare and serve meal accompaniments to guests
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of food, wine, and beverage menus
  • Ensure guests have enjoyable and memorable experiences and communicate complaints to management
  • Perform sidework and assist with station setup and breakdown including deli, dessert, coffee, and espresso
  • Open bottled wine for guests (wine service)
  • Assist with seating guests, taking to-go orders, bussing tables, and answering phones as needed
  • Attend all company and restaurant required trainings and maintain constant communication with support staff and management
  • Adapt to multiple roles and responsibilities beyond the standard job description as needed
