Job Requirements

  • One or more years of general maintenance experience or equivalent training required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability for afterhours calls
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with summer schedule changing to Tuesday to Saturday
  • Familiarity with Oregon State Landlord-Tenant Laws helpful

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One or more years of general maintenance experience or equivalent training
  • Familiarity with property maintenance processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with vendors and residents
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of Oregon State Landlord-Tenant Laws helpful

Job Duties

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, appliance repair, and cleaning
  • Schedule and coordinate with vendors
  • Own preventive maintenance inspections and capital expenditure improvements
  • Ensure buildings comply with physical asset requirements
  • Perform unit turns including appliance servicing, plumbing and electrical repairs, part replacements, lock re-keying, and interior painting
  • Address and follow up on residents' work order requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, residents, property managers, and office staff
  • Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders
  • Complete all work timely and professionally
