Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food safety certification within 30 days of hire
- Minimum 1.5 years experience in kitchen environment
- Ability to prepare and serve meals
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including events

Job Duties
- Open and close the kitchen efficiently
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks daily
- Create special dishes for events and parent weekends
- Prepare healthful, nutritious, and organic meals
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including refrigerators, ovens, floors, and dishware
- Ensure kitchen meets state health and safety standards
- Build positive relationships with residents during mealtimes
- Adjust work schedule to align with program schedules
- Engage positively with parents and guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff in baking and cooking groups
