Job Requirements

Must be able to work assigned schedule and designated area
must have valid California driver’s license
must provide proof of auto insurance
must submit current DMV printout
must have own transportation
must pass background check including fingerprinting
must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
ability to communicate with children and parents
ability to read a map and schedule routes on time
must maintain respectful attitude and provide customer service
must be able to perform work activities involving negotiation and instruction

Job Qualifications

Ability to communicate positively with children and parents
skill in scheduling and organizing routes
ability to read a map
valid California driver’s license
proof of auto insurance
ability to work assigned schedule and designated area
ability to get along with co-workers and respond appropriately to supervisors
experience working with the public
experience working with children

Job Duties

Follow a pre-determined schedule within the assigned shift
assist co-worker with last minute schedule and route changes
read maps to navigate to multiple locations
drive own vehicle to and from each visit with mileage reimbursement
wear and maintain a District-issued costume
cheerfully greet children and families
distribute candy canes and manage length of visits
communicate regularly with supervisors
perform other duties as assigned
