Job Qualifications
- Experience with conveyor belt dishwashing machines and other industrial equipment
- be a self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision
- ability to work rotating shifts including overnight, holidays, weekends, and overtime
- legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- highly flexible and analytical proactive team player
- excellent knowledge of food and hygiene standards
- valid Food Handler Certificate such as ServSafe
- Food Protection Manager Certification is a plus
- airline catering industry knowledge is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensure all customer specifications are met
- comply with all food safety rules and regulations
- meet all kitchen ready times for all assigned flights
- assist in monitoring employee productivity and provide suggestions for increased service or productivity
- understand and follow all policies and procedures
- attend and promote L-10 meetings
- assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility
- report all accidents and injuries promptly
- comply with all company safety and risk management policies
- participate in regular safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments
- provide excellent customer service daily
- maintain excellent relations with employees in the department and other departments
- deliver on time and complete all process deadlines
- comply with all HACCP, GMP, and Abby's Catering sanitation and food handling policies
- perform other duties as assigned
