Job Requirements
- Ability to work night shift
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- physical ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
- ability to communicate effectively in a team structure
- flexibility in work assignments within the utility category
- willingness to work 100% on-site during third shift
- commitment to maintaining GMP standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- previous safety training preferred
- prior food industry experience a plus
- familiarity with bakery equipment preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to work effectively in a team
Job Duties
- Clean floors, lights, walls, windows, ceilings, restrooms, break room, wash rack, equipment, e.g., mixer, oven, hand truck, in various areas of the plant
- spot paint various areas within the plant
- communicate with production staff regarding problems and cleaning frequency
- clean processing and non-processing equipment, e.g., coolers, oven, etc.
- clean grounds, e.g., snow removal, weeds, tree trimming, police grounds, etc.
- dismantle machinery
- discard waste and/or trash
- resolve insect problems
- may perform other duties not listed
