Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience as sanitation or janitorial worker in a warehouse environment
- Ability to operate mobile cleaning equipment and industrial balers
- Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing for long periods
- Ability to work in multi-temperature and noisy production environments
- Compliance with safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment
- Strong communication skills
- No travel required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of sanitation or janitorial experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and food safety standards such as HACCP and FDA regulations
- Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment including pressure washers and floor scrubbers
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Cooperative attitude and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures including personal protective equipment use
- Follow food quality and safety standards as per corporate and regulatory requirements
- Prioritize cleaning tasks based on supervisor directions or sanitation schedules
- Prepare and sanitize production equipment including disassembly and re-assembly
- Use sanitation chemicals in compliance with usage labels
- Sanitize production and structural equipment such as conveyors, cooling tunnels, pumps, drains, walls, ceilings, and waste areas
- Operate industrial cleaning machines like pressure washers and floor scrubbers safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate sanitation documentation and complete daily sanitation schedules
- Assist and mentor Sanitation Tech I employees
- Communicate sanitation progress, issues, and completion status
