Job Requirements
- ability to work in cold environment
- capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including lift carry twist bend stoop push and pull
- ability to stand for long periods
- basic sanitation and cleaning knowledge
- experience with sanitation chemicals and tools
- ability to work under supervision
- flexibility to handle additional duties
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year of sanitation experience or relevant work experience
- good communication skills
- ability to grasp tasks quickly
- prior food manufacturing experience preferred
Job Duties
- maintain a high level of food safety and product quality through cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment utensils and facility
- clean buildings by emptying trash sweeping and cleaning surfaces
- use sanitation tools chemicals and adhere to food safety standards
- assemble and disassemble equipment when cleaning
- understand and use cleaning chemicals appropriately
- operate high pressure hose for cleaning
- use electric or manual pallet jack
- perform other duties as assigned
