Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in sanitation or related fields preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in cold and wet environments
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience working in sanitation, ideally with food or involving mechanical equipment is preferred
- Ability to follow established cleaning and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize processing utensils, equipment, and interiors of production areas
- Disassemble, clean, and sanitize any required equipment using established procedures
- Operate cleaning and sanitizing equipment to ensure cleanliness of equipment and work areas
- Mix and/or use chemicals of proper concentrations to ensure effective cleaning/sanitizing of equipment and areas
- Clean common areas, restrooms, and dressing rooms
- Empty waste bins/barrels and transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Follow quality management standards, policies, and procedures
