Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must be legally employable in the united states
- must have reliable transportation to and from work
- safety awareness and attention to detail is mandatory
- must be able to lift 15 lbs to 50 lbs
- able to communicate with team members, company managers and customer staff
- able to work in extreme temperature fluctuations
- must be willing to work scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- able to work in all environmental conditions of food processing plants such as hot, cold, loud and wet
- must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Job Qualifications
- 0-1 year of experience in the food processing industry or another heavy industry field
- ability to communicate with team members, company managers and customer staff
- safety awareness and attention to detail
- able to lift 15 lbs to 50 lbs
- bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Job Duties
- clean and sanitize equipment and workspace in a designated area of the plant
- work cooperatively with leads and management to ensure all seven steps of sanitation procedures are followed
- frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers
- wear employer-specified personal protective equipment such as gloves, face shield, eye goggles, aprons, boots, safety glasses
- perform all tasks to comply with all safety regulations
- use lock-out tag-out procedures
- take direction and instruction from managers and be accountable for own actions
