Job Requirements
- Ability to read, write legibly, and perform simple mathematic functions
- ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- understand and apply Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for various chemicals used
- must be able to work weekends

- previous sanitation or cleaning experience preferred
- high school diploma or GED preferred
Job Duties
- Cleans equipment per the sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP) as directed by the sanitation supervisor and/or sanitation manager to maintain a clean processing environment for all products
- dismantles equipment prior to cleaning as needed and reassembles when completed as directed
- works with the sanitation supervisor to sample the flour tailings and maintain the cleanliness of the flour sifter as required
- cleans the facility to maintain a clean processing environment for all products
- cleans employee services areas to maintain clean facilities for all employees
- utilizes cleaning chemicals in the appropriate quantities and for the intended purposes to assure plant surfaces are clean and meet regulatory standards
- cleans equipment after repairs and prior to the return of equipment to production at the direction of the production and/or maintenance supervisor
- cleans the offices, emptying trash, vacuuming and performing other cleaning functions
- maintains the office kitchens and bathrooms ensuring areas are clean and sanitary
- maintains the grounds as required
- replenishes soaps, paper products, hairnets etc. as needed
- serves on the production line as needed and on the safety committee if selected
- performs other duties as assigned
