Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- must be legally employable in the United States
- must maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- willing to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- able to work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, loud, and wet
- dependable, competent, and able to follow up on assigned tasks
- able to work effectively with all organizational levels
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 0-1 year experience in food processing or heavy industry
- preferred 2+ years of experience in food or protein industry
- sound knowledge of sanitary restoration steps
- knowledgeable in industrial safety practices such as Lock Out/Tag Out and HAZCOMM
- bilingual skills highly preferred (English/Spanish)
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse team members
Job Duties
- perform sanitary restoration on assigned equipment in compliance with USDA regulations
- ensure sanitation team members are adequately trained and equipped
- communicate sanitation and safety requirements to team members
- conduct equipment inspections before, during, and after sanitation
- perform duties as a sanitation team member as needed
- operate specialized equipment such as forklifts or scissor lifts after training
- complete other duties or special projects as assigned
