Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must possess sound knowledge of sanitary restoration steps
- Must be knowledgeable in industrial safety practices including Lock Out/Tag Out and HAZCOMM
- Must be legally employable in the United States
- Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- Willing to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in varying environmental conditions such as hot, cold, loud, and wet environments
- Dependable, competent, and able to follow up on assigned tasks
- Able to communicate with team members, managers, customer staff, and government officials
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- 2+ years of experience in the food or protein industry preferred
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices such as Lock Out/Tag Out and HAZCOMM
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with team members and management
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly preferred
Job Duties
- Perform steps of sanitary restoration on assigned equipment
- Utilize industrial sanitizers and equipment in compliance with USDA regulations
- Ensure sanitation team members are trained and equipped with necessary personal protective equipment
- Communicate special sanitation requirements from Supervisors to team members
- Conduct inspections of cleaned and sanitized equipment before, during, and after sanitation process
- Perform duties of a sanitation team member as necessary
- Operate special equipment such as forklifts or scissor lifts upon proper training
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
