Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess sound knowledge of sanitary restoration steps
  • Must be knowledgeable in industrial safety practices including Lock Out/Tag Out and HAZCOMM
  • Must be legally employable in the United States
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Willing to work all shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work in varying environmental conditions such as hot, cold, loud, and wet environments
  • Dependable, competent, and able to follow up on assigned tasks
  • Able to communicate with team members, managers, customer staff, and government officials

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in the food or protein industry preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial safety practices such as Lock Out/Tag Out and HAZCOMM
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with team members and management
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform steps of sanitary restoration on assigned equipment
  • Utilize industrial sanitizers and equipment in compliance with USDA regulations
  • Ensure sanitation team members are trained and equipped with necessary personal protective equipment
  • Communicate special sanitation requirements from Supervisors to team members
  • Conduct inspections of cleaned and sanitized equipment before, during, and after sanitation process
  • Perform duties of a sanitation team member as necessary
  • Operate special equipment such as forklifts or scissor lifts upon proper training
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
