Job Requirements

- Physical ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, ramps, poles and scaffolding
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed
- Ability to stand and move around the manufacturing floor for up to 8 hours
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach out
- Adaptability to changing work pace and environments
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of sanitation experience in a manufacturing setting, food manufacturing preferred but not required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate safety labels on chemical containers
- Proficient understanding of sanitation procedures and equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills within a team environment
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety
- Ability to comprehend and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills
Job Duties
- Responsible for daily facility sanitation and custodial duties according to Sanitation Master Schedule
- Clean all production areas according to SQF regulations, GMP, and sanitation policies
- Disassemble machines, sanitize, foam rinse, and reassemble production lines for use
- Use power equipment such as floor sweepers, vacuums, scrubbers, mops, power washers
- Perform housekeeping duties including restrooms, lunchroom, offices, lobby, conference room
- Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner
- Perform all other assigned tasks as assigned by the sanitation supervisor
