Job Duties
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
- gather and empty trash and safely operate trash compactor
- service, clean, and supply restrooms including warehouse restrooms
- clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- clean the grounds outside and empty trash cans and smoking outposts
- clean, polish and/or dust furniture, walls, kitchen and bathroom machines, fixtures and equipment
- follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners using Safety Data Sheets to prevent damage
- restock supplies in production areas such as lab coats and hair nets
- clean and sanitize hand and foot stations in the building
- requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs to prepare facilities for events and meetings
- notify supervisors concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- report sources of danger and observe instructions from the Occupational Safety and Health management system
- separate waste correctly according to Waste Control
- observe hygiene, HACCP, allergy, glass, and blade management
- adhere to Safety Guidelines, Hygiene Guidelines, Internal Work Rules and Emergency and Evacuation Plan
- perform all other duties as assigned
- ability to walk, stand up to 8 hours
- ability to reach, bend, twist when cleaning
- ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
- ability to work with cleaning agents such as alcohol and bleach
