Job Requirements
- General laborer training
- Lockout/tagout training
- Knowledge of AAPP sanitation processes
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to meet deadlines, goals, and expectations
- Ability to utilize chemicals in correct ratios and dilutions
- Ability to operate hoses, squeegees, floor scrubbers
- Compliance with company training and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Job Duties
- Takes part in the cleaning of equipment and work areas
- Demonstrates ability to properly clean machinery, floors, and other necessary spots in a safe and efficient manner that adheres to company training and safety procedures
- Utilizes chemical and cleaning supplies to sanitize work areas and manufacturing equipment on a nightly basis
- Requires utilizing hoses, squeegees, floor scrubbers and other tools to successfully clean equipment
- Job may require getting underneath machinery in order to clean the equipment entirely
- Learns company sanitation practices and procedures
- Reports any known quality or food safety issues to a team lead, supervisor or manager
