Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for 8 or more hours per day
- Ability to perform fast-paced manual labor involving bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, pushing, repetitive wrist and hand motions
- Frequent overhead reaching
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl as needed
- Ability to climb stairs, step stools, and step ladders
- Ability to work at heights on scissors lifts
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in varied temperature environments including warm baked lines and cooler frozen lines
- Compliance with dress code including wearing sanitation PPE, hairnets, beard nets, uniforms, no jewelry or piercing
- Must wear slip-resistant footwear with voucher provided
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and participate in drug-free, alcohol-free workplace
- Must pass E-Verify program
Job Qualifications
- Some industrial sanitation experience is helpful but training is provided
- High school diploma or GED is a plus
- Ability to read labels and safety instructions on cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work with industrial cleaning chemicals with safety training and PPE provided
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and to communicate effectively one-on-one and in small groups
- Teamwork and a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Washing and sanitizing all food-contact surfaces including soaping, wiping, scraping, rinsing
- Use of power hose and air hose to remove debris and rinse
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Operating floor scrubber equipment
- Using ladders and scissors lifts to clean at heights
- Thorough facilities cleaning including windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures
