Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in sanitation or kitchen support preferred
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch
- Capable of lifting, pushing, and transporting up to 100 pounds
- Willingness to work in hot, cold, or humid environments
- Commitment to following safety and MSDS protocols
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work varying schedules to meet business needs
- Focus and maintain attention to tasks and complete work assignments on time despite frequent interruptions
- Regular attendance according to established guidelines
- Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times
Job Duties
- Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine
- Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack
- Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area
- Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times including sweeping up broken glass and dishes and mopping up any spills
- Empty full and heavy trash cans and sanitize after each use
- Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning
- Follow all MSDS protocols and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties in other areas of the kitchen as assigned including assisting with plating banquet events when needed
