Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to follow established cleaning and safety procedures
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to understand and comply with MSDS guidelines
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Basic understanding of food safety
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to perform various kitchen tasks as assigned
Job Duties
- Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine
- Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack
- Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area
- Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping spills
- Empty full and heavy trash cans and sanitize after each use
- Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning
- Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines
- Perform other duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned including assisting with plating banquet events when needed
