Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to follow established cleaning and safety procedures
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to understand and comply with MSDS guidelines
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Basic understanding of food safety
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to perform various kitchen tasks as assigned

Job Duties

  • Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine
  • Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack
  • Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area
  • Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping spills
  • Empty full and heavy trash cans and sanitize after each use
  • Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning
  • Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols and safety guidelines
  • Perform other duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned including assisting with plating banquet events when needed
