Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to work in variable temperature conditions and food manufacturing warehouse environment
  • Unrestricted visual and audio abilities required for safety

Job Duties

  • Inspect equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws
  • Perform cleaning of equipment and inspection of all working parts to ensure readiness for production use
  • Clean work areas carefully to avoid damage to facility
  • Inspect premises for unsanitary practices and conditions and escalate concerns to management
  • Adhere to changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting or work practices to improve sanitation standards
  • Operate lifting equipment such as IE Boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts for overhead cleaning
  • Serve as backup to Lead to ensure all food safety and quality objectives are met
