Job Requirements

  • Ability to work in wet environments and perform all essential duties
  • Must be able to read, understand, and communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • Possess basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more
  • Comfortable working in cold, wet, and noisy conditions
  • Available to work flexible hours, including potential overtime and Saturdays as needed

Job Duties

  • Maintain all equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and ready-to-use condition for the production department
  • Perform cleaning of miscellaneous equipment and designated areas as required by the sanitation crew
  • Participate in all departmental operations as needed
  • Cross-train in Smoker, Cook Tank, and Massage Operator duties
  • Set up and dismantle production equipment to support specific cleaning processes
  • Use appropriate chemicals and water to thoroughly remove food residue from equipment and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, hoppers, conveyors, and related machinery
  • Wear company-provided protective equipment and strictly follow all safety procedures
  • Carry out maintenance tasks or other duties as assigned
  • Work effectively in high-temperature water environments
  • Regularly bend, stoop, push, pull, and walk as part of job duties
  • Be flexible and willing to perform various departmental responsibilities as needed
  • Complete other duties as assigned
