Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Must have knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Must wear closed-toe, slip resistant shoes with a Coefficient of Friction rating between 0.54 and 0.76
- Must be comfortable with repetitive motions
- Must be able to work in an often hot environment
- Must communicate by Paylocity, Slack, and email
- Adheres to all SCDHEC food safety requirements including following rules of cooling, time control of temperature and storing food properly
- Takes initiative to help any area of the business if possible
- Performs other duties as assigned and requested
Job Qualifications

- Must have knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

- Must communicate by Paylocity, Slack, and email

- Is an active part of the Swamp Team so adheres to high standards of service, quality, and presentation
- Takes initiative to help any area of the business if possible
- Performs other duties as assigned and requested
- It is understood that every incidental duty connected with operations detailed in this job description are not always specifically described
- Employees may be required to perform duties not within their job description as requested at the discretion of SRCG Management
Job Duties
- Efficiently prepares, assembles, and packages menu items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Accurately follows all recipes to prepare and produce high-quality food in a consistent and timely manner
- Models accuracy and urgency in preparing ingredients and building menu items with the goal of consistently serving high quality food in a fast paced environment
- Ensures the pars/prep lists are being completed such as slicing meat, cheese and vegetables
- Prepares the workstation for each shift, based on day, weather, season, expected crowds, and for following shift
- Adheres to all policies, recipes, and procedures concerning food prep, food service, stocking, rotating and clean up
- Maintains a clean and sanitary line and workstation (includes cutting boards, floor, trash, slicer, and bread areas)
- Completes all opening and closing duties to a high standard
- Assists with preparing catering orders when needed
- Works safely around hot ovens, heavy equipment, and sharp utensils
- Expos food and drinks as needed
- Takes direction from Cafe management and Kitchen Manager
- Communicates effectively with preceding and following staff regarding status of food preparation
- Assists fellow employees as needed, including but not limited to customer service
